    i have got a 15hp mariner about 1979 when its idling the engine shakes left to right constantly when it gets to 3/4 throttle it tends to smooth out has anyone got any ideas??? I have replaced the points and condensors both plugs are sparking good

    i removed my crankcase to check the reed valves and have now rebuilt the engine i was wondering if there was any base setting for the Maximum Spark Advance screw and the Maximum Neutral RPM Limiter Adjustment screw as i had to undo them to take cover off and like a fool forgot to measure them...
