    Mercury 2.5hp auxiliary - serial number help

    :) Evening all, a new member here with a basic question: can anyone tell if Mercury stamp serial numbers on these engines and if so where to find it? As I say it's a 2.5 hp unit with a fixed drive [no gears] but other than a "family" number inside the top casing I can find no other numbers that...
