    98 Force 120 rpm? 4750rpm?

    I need to know what the rpm is supposed to be wide open with this motor? Mine runs at 4750. The motor says 5250 max. Is this what it is supposed to run?

    idle problems/ top end rpm? 98 120 Force

    I have a 98 Force 120 on a Fisher 18' alum. fish and ski. The idle is speratic and is a pain. It starts fine, but the idle rises to a point, and then drops quickly like it is going to die and then rises quickly again. It acts like it reaches a rev limit and cuts out and then drops about 600...
