    changed water seperator now it wont start

    I have a 90 searay with a 99 7.4L with MPI bravo 1. it was running rough so I changed the water seperator and now it wont start? I filled the filter when I put it on. If I spray injector cleaner in and try and start it, it runs until the spray is gone? any help would be greatly appreciated.
