    OMC 4.3 feul delivery problem

    I have an OMC 4.3 w/ a 2 bbl rochester and it is running rich. There is gas pouring in through the overflow tube. It is blowing heavy black smoke. I am assuming the feul pump has gone bad, or could it be a restriction?

    Ok new problem....I get to the boat yesterday and she starts up fine. Out on the lake i come off plane she stumbles and dies. If i give her gas she will start but only for a few seconds. once going it runs good. Will dwell cause this issue? After it sits for a while goes back to normal...

    I overheated this motor and fried the impeller a couple of weeks ago. I just got it back after impeller change and shift seal replacement and it still overheats at WOT.     Pressure/Vacuum question

    I have a pre alpha MERC outdrive that leaks oil into water(outside boat). I pressure test the upper and lower seperately and they hold fine. I pull a vacuum on the lower and that seems fine. The upper half wont go any higher than 4-5 psi. Where do I start looking?
