    175 yamaha stalling

    Recently this season my 1998 yamaha 175 2 stroke has been stalling after long runs when i throttle down to idle. Runs fine all other times. plugs look a little oily. Put new plugs in this season however only burnt off fogging oil from lay up on old plugs for 3 minues before installing new ones...

    the water coming out of my 1996 merc 15 h.p is sometimes strong and then almost non exsistant . It is also very hot to the touch is this normal:p

    started hard ran next day wouldn,t start

    I inherited a 1996 merc 15 horse outboard . Took it to a marine mechanic, he got it running however stated that the particular model had problems with choke, throttle. Went to run a few days later and had a real tuff time starting about thirty pulls I tilted the motor completely out of the water...
