    I want to change to pre mix oil on my 150 mariner. Anyone done this before or know what all needs to be done? Your help is greatly appreciated.

    overheat after extended idle

    1995 Mercury 175 EFI ECU. Engine gets hot after idling around for a while. Cools back down when running on plane. Water tell-tale spits and spurts the whole time. Put new water pump and thermostat on. Still had problem. Put new gasket between powerhead and mid section thinking it may have water...

    Johnson 150

    What would cause the timing to jump from 28 btdc to the opposite side of the flywheel that says #2 cyl while at idle.Timing light hooked up to #1 cyl.
