Trailer questions- got a real tug happening!

So we pull our 1802 trophy on our f150 4x4-we noticed a fore and aft tugging. Had the surge brakes done- really rusted. Didn't help- had the actuator replaced-brakes work well but still have the tug. Tug is noticed mostly while coasting at any speed. It does tug a bit occasionally when...

Never in my wildest dreams.......stunned beyond belief!

I was new to this forum a few months back-as a new owner of a 1802 Trophy. My Trophy was beautiful! Today- Father's day, of all days, I was planning on taking the kids out and walked out to the marina slip -I thought something was weird-it took a few moments to register it fully. My 115 mercury...

    cuddy fuel smell on 1802

We have this 2004 1802- the cuddy first smelled of light fuel and chemicals ( porta potty etc.) cleaned it all out. Still have the fuel smell while parked in driveway. Engine off. I left windows open-doesn't help. Don't smell fuel anywhere else-even when I open the cover plate. Husband and wife...

    Transom savers for Trophy

Our 1802 Trophy transom sits approx. 18 inches over last cross bar of trailer. Have been reading about transom savers and am wondering if they work ( the bent model) for this kind of setup. The outboard is a 115 4 stroke. Trailer has a "rubber landing guide " in the center of the last cross bar...

    1802 Trophy-trailer question

New to forum- learning a lot from all your information and suggestions! When first trailering the boat we experienced some rhythmic bouncing of the truck( f150) over 40 mph. It was inconsistent-at first we thought it was the road-determined that wasn't it. Slowed down- seemed to go away. Trying...
