My 175 mercury lower unit has a heavy oil leak Seals and o-ring were replaced but it made no change. Could not find any damage in unit when it was apart and no water was in unit. OEM parts were used . can oil come from anywhere else like around water pump Ronnie
Motor runs full throttle at 5800 rpm fine. If I back off from full throttle the motor surges severe. It acts as if you pull the throttle from full to idel rapid and will contuine untill I come almost to a stop . It is hard to crank and floods easy trying to crank. Once moving it is ok. Fuel...
