    quicksilver controler

    I have a 1982 Tracker boat with a 70hp Mariner. the boat worked great last year. This year went to take it out and the Quicksilver shifter is acting up. Dose any one know how to get a model number off it. All the shifter says is quicksiver. I need the diagram to see if i put it back together right.

    I have a 67 evinrude 40 hp. I blue out the head gaskit. i took it apart and found pittining in the head its not shinny its all cabind up. I was wondering what is it caused for?
