    4.3 Motor runs good for an hour then bogs down

    4.3 mercruiser w/2 barrel runs bad after 30 min

    I have a 92 mercruiser 4.3 with a 2 barrel carb. It runs excellent when i first get on the water then after about 30 min it starts to bog down and does not have any power. I was pulling a tube and the tuber said he could smell a lot of fuel. Is this a carb. related issue?

    Engine Runs good in neutral but not in gear?

    I Have a 1992 4.3 mercruiser. When i put the boat in neutral it revs up fine with no problems.It has a good smooth idle. When i put the motor in gear and get going down the lake it won't exceed 3400 rpms with the throttle all the way down. It seems to chug a little. Just curious where to start...
