    Drain raw water side after flushing?

    Should I be draining the raw water side of the motor after flushing it ? The boat is used in salt water. I have been draining it but I'm not sure if it is the right thing to do.

    Fuel pump sight hose

    cruiser 3.0L timing question

    Having trouble finding the correct timing numbers for my 2003 3.0L. The operation and maintenance manual that came with the boat says 2 degrees ATDC. The sticker on the air filter says 1 degree ATDC. and the mercruiser service manual says 6 degrees BTDC. Im not sure which numbers to go with...
