    So I currently have a 1956 f100 that I don't ever take out because it needs new brakes. I just bought a boat with the mercruiser 470 and from what I understand those were made by ford? Or close to them? Anyways, my questions is, are the parts very interchangeable? I need a new starter on the 470...
