    hi all, i have just bought a skeeter boat with a yam80hp 2stroke...my problem is i got a universal tacho and i need to work out how many pickups my motor has... the tach works on 3,4,5,6 approx 50rpm difference on each...how do i work out which is the correct setting....thankyou

    mercury 800 gears

    hi all, have been lurking for sometime i have learnt alot so now i have bought my first boat a dory with canopy and above engine. I have learnt that its a 71/72. my question is i bought it with no reverse (having read here it can be an easy fix) with luck it will be so i just need a few pointers...
