    I have a 14ft flatbottom with 9.9hp merc110 And i run into a problom at times of it not getting on plane and the prop gets washed out and boat slows down and engine revs what is the better choice to use?

    i would assume that a 9.8 would have no trouble getting the boat on plane but i might be wrong. i have a 14ft flat bootom boat and i weigh about 260lbs..maybe little less and wife weighs less then me but not by a whole lot...and i have two big marine batteries in the boat right infront of...

    which way on impeller on 1967 merc 110

    i need to changet the impeller on my merc 110 9.8hp and when i got the lower unit apart the impeller fins are going to different derections so i dont know which way it is supposed to go....i attached a picture and wondering if u anyone could tell me by looking at the picture which way it should...
