    I have a chance to buy this motor at a real good price, what kind of motors are the nissan?? Not like a force, or some other off breed are they? I have never owned one so I I have no clue to performance, parts, reliability, resale value. Can some one help me out?? thanks

    electrical question 88 50 HP

    What part or parts of the electrical system cause the engine to RPM?? Stuck on idle. I have checked most of the things in the manual, with no results. I have wore out my multimeter. Also the amp meter went out of site, engine quit. New battery, cables, cleaned, STUMPED.

    1988 force 50 hp, how much fuel pump pressure should you have at the carb????????

    50 hp performance

    I replaced everything on the fuel side of the motor, starts ok, idles fine, the second I move the throttle forward it dies, are the coils bad? I need some help. Good compression 130, new plugs, new fuel pump, new carb parts, still won't run.

    1988 force 50 hp, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new carb overhaul,tank vent is full open, 130 compression, both, hard to start, idles fine, anything after that, motor dies out, will restart but only idle, idle adjustment screw seems to make motor sound better at 1/2 turn out floods out at 1...

    1988 force 50 hp, what are the carb settings? float drop, float height, needle setting?

    engine dies

    1988 force 50 hp, ran for two hours fine, idle and wide open. Stopped to fish, would only idle on warm up. needed to keep pushing the choke to idle. Quits when put in gear. primer bulb is soft. Did the same thing a day before, but could get in gear by using the choke. Very cold blooded...
