Does anyone know how I can find the year for this particular motor. It is a Mariner (built by Yamaha. It has the Yamaha insignia on the case) model 30M serial number 689 S 030608.
I just picked up an Mariner 30hp OB motor. It is a mid-80's (I think) and was actually built by Yamaha. Does anyone know the ratio of oil to gas to run in this? I have always run a 50:1 in my other OBs but have heard that Yamaha's use 100:1.
