    I had one of those 5 HP Merc motors with integral tank as a kicker on a 19 foot sylvan. Used it on HP restricted lakes. Wasn’t fast but moved me around.

    To add if it hasn’t been said. Sometimes the written word on the internet doesn’t transfer well. What might be interpreted by the reader as harsh or belittling might not be the posters intent at all. Have seen it many times. Sometimes a simple private message can clear things up.

    If that is stuck on that stand You could center punch and drill and use an easy out. Or if your not in love with that 2x4 you could just split or chisel at it a little bit till the motor comes off then you can just put a big vice grip on the round foot and spin it out
