    general engine maintenance

    I am looking at buying my first boat, the boat is a baymaster and is equipped with a 90hp evinrude, now the boat has been just sitting for the past 2years due to the owners health conditions, the boat starts, my question is what should be done in terms of maintenance right off the bat??? Thx.

    93 yamaha eightyfive hp

    im looking at buying a boat, the guy selling it says it makes kind of a clicking/grinding noise when idleing, he says hes had the lower unit checked out and its not in the lower unit. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thx. Mike
