    Outdrive unit.

    Outdrive will not raise up and down unless the motor is running. I am not sure why it wont raise up and down with just the key on. Is that normal and if not any ideas as to why the motor has to be running to raise the lower unit? Thanks

    Any reason I cant use one of these and shoot it thru the hull? I found a cheap one on ebay and it fits my wide eye but its a trolling mount transducer. I want to mount it in the bottom of the boat instead of a transom mount.
