    1966 Mercury 9.8

    I had to pull my power head to change my tiller arm on my 1966 Mercury 9.8 and the rubber bushings between the cowl and the plate between the engine and lower unit are bad. Do I have to disassemble the shift arm and choke lever to remove these?

    Evinrude info.

    I picked up this older Evinrude, the tag is off and has been spray bombed. Can anyone tell me approximately what year or model? Its needing some carburetor or fuel pump work.

    Proper location of boat on Trailer ??

    I just picked up a Yarborough S17 Trailer for my 18ft Starcraft , Hows the boat supposed to be placed on the Trailer ?? Are the Bunks to be flush with the rear of the Boat or is it ok for it to hang off the rear a little ?? I think I'm going to have to lengthen the trailer a little to work...

    Lowering Compression on Johnson 135

    I have an older Johnson and I hear talk of lowering the Compression on it by changing the heads with Johnson 115 Heads. Is this something I should think about ??
