    Hit Rock loosing a prop

    Can a larger outboard that hit a rock and damaged the prop and prop shaft make the prop come while limping back in to shore? There was a bit of vibration and I was wondering if that is what caused it. The prop does not have a locking key pin.

    I have a Suzuki DF140. I have a 21P powertech and would like to experiment with a few higher pitch props. Do any Merc props fit these also? As long as it has the came gearcase size and spline count, can you use any prop?
