    lookin at getting a new boat and i came across one i like the engine is a 85 johnson 150 the compression is at 90 psi. so my question is where should the compression be at on this motor is this where it should be?

    gear issues

    i have a evinrude 25hp its an 89 and when i take it out it well get in high gear and then just come out of high gear and over rev the motor then it won't go back into high gear after that i have no idea where to start any help will be great

    starter problems

    i have an 89 evinrude 25hp electric start and when i go to start it, it will come up and spin but it won't go all the way up to turn the fly wheel, and sometimes when i tape the starter it will then come all the way and start the engine any ideas of what the problem is would be great thanks

    cooling problems

    i have a 1989 evinrude 25hp just cleaned the carb and replaced the water pump but the motor still isn't peeing out water i don't know where to start on this one please help thanks

    1989 evinrude 25hp can't get it go please help

    i have a 1989 evinrude 25hp it will start and begin to idle but after 3 or 4 minutes just boggs out then it will start up again and idle fine but when i put it in to gear and open up the throttle it just shuts down and won't run any suggestion would be great thanks
