    Boat Cover for 2003 SX-195

    Looking for a trailerable cover and need to know what size you all have bought. The boat specs say 19.5' . I've read it is 19'...so will a 17-19' cover work or do I need a 19-21'?

    Thermostat....

    I have never checked...until now..... the boat runs cool so I pulled thermostat housing. Should I see the thermostat just I would in the typical automotive set-up? There is nothing there... 2003 Carbed 4.3 Mercruiser. Any one have a picture of what I should be seeing?

    4.3 Alternator Wire Identification Help Needed!

    I was getting the boat ready for our maiden voyage of the year and noticed a purple/yellow wire with a small rubber boot not connected to the alternator. Any idea what it goes to? I have 2003 Glaston sx 195 with the carb 4.3 Mercruiser.

    RPM's not Dropping in Neutral

    I noticed this weekend that intermittenly the engine RPMs do not completely return to idle speed after throttling down and placing boat in neutral(~1000). Any ideas? If I turn the ignition off and start it back up the issue corrects itself, which leads me to a sensor, not a throttle cable...

    Engine Compartment Storage

    I just purchased a 2003 SX-195 and it is my first I/O boat. Do any of you use the extra space in the engine compartment for storage? If so, what are you doing to contain the stuff and what kind of stuff are you storing? What kind of temps should I expect in there?
