    Vortec 4.3 w /holley 4160 4 barrel. The boat runs great but here's the issue. If I use one spring in the carburetor I get a good take off with a top speed of 47. 4 barrels don't open as enough.     Help Choosing flame arrestor.

    So my build is complet. I have a 4.3 added vortec heads, 4 barrell intake, and a 600cfm holley carb. I'm guessing the flame aresstor i have is to small as far as irflow goes so im looking at the k&n models. What would be the best one for this setup. Thanks Jeffrey

    Just curious about the Holley 4 barrel 600 cfm. I ordered this for my 4.3. Liter. i then found a cfm calculator that says for the 4.3 that maximum is like 380 cfms. So I guess my question is why would they have the 600 cfm application for. Will this be to much for my motor. According to holley...
