    Setting points

    Just wondering if it matters what position the throttle handle is in when resetting point gaps on older motors sometimes i set them and the motor works great other time i set them and them seem sluggish not sure if throttle position has anything to do with this. Thank you James

    Hi all, I have a 9.5 evenrude sport twin and cant seem to get the carb to prime when i squeeze the ball it just pumps air and fuel into the carb and the fuel comes out a small port on the top of the carb by the choke. any Idea what may be causing this.
