    I dropped the lower unit to check the impeller and everything looks pretty good. My only problem is the o ring that goes in exhaust tube is shot. can I just get the o ring?

    1971 Evinrude Ski Twin 40hp Prop Slip

    If I put the hub of the prop in a vice the prop itself spins on it. Is this normal? It had 3 screws that look like they were put in to lock it on but there sheered off. Also I use this for fishing on my 15' 1971 MFG and it has a 10.5/12 should I go something bigger or with more or less pitch?

    1971 Ski Twin Prop slip

    I just found that my prop is slipping on the hub. There are 3 screws going into the prop and into the hub but it looks like they all sheered off. I have a feeling they were put there by the previous owner in attempt to fix the slip. If I put the prop's hub in the vise I can turn the prop itself...
