    Merc 650 coil

    I am trying to find a coil for a 650 merc serial#9047146.<br /><br />I think the part# is 332-4894-a1, but every site I go to does not list it? Any ideas on price? <br /><br />On outboardparts.com they list one with part# 339-7370a-13. Is this a universal one? It looks like the one on my motor.

    Merc 65 type 111 ignition still no spark

    After posting a few topics and doing a lot of research, I (or you!!) worked out that it was either my trigger or switch box that was stopping the above engine from sparking.<br /><br />It is the 3 cylinder model with one coil (type III ignition) It would spark one day and run like a dream then...

    I have just got a Mercury blueband 65 outboad engine, but I can not get a spark on any of the plugs. After looking through topics already posted, there seem to be a lot of talk about power packs. I think I understand what this is, is there any way to test these?? Or has anybody got any other...
