    Should I run the strap or rope through the transom bracket like this? (Of course, I would run the rope under the steering support bracket and lines). Also, I would make sure the engine is tilted all the way up. Tks!

I understand tying a rope under the anticavitaion plate, but I'm not sure how to put it around the transom bracket or where/how to place the pipe to create the torniquet like force.     That's just the support system (rod) for the Baystar hydraulic assist. It does look like a steering cable. thanks!!

    What do you mean? "the cable steering seems to be connected". Was I supposed to remove something? I think I should add more grease to get all the old grease to come out the bottom of the steering column. The color of the old grease was whitish/light brown. Thanks!

    Good Morning All, I just changed the plugs on my 2012 E-tec 175 and I'm trying to confirm if these 2 plugs are within the indexing range (facing the injectors). Those are plugs #4 and #6. By the way, I already pushed them both to 29lbs of torque. I don't think I should increase the torque...

    Got it. That would be the best way to fix it. But I would have to wait until the fuel tank is almost empty. The fuel gauge is not reliable. Ar the same time, I could do a rough estimate based on the tank size and maybe add a little more (4:1) and let it smoke a little more than usual.

    The compression test was done last month and it bet 127-130 psi on all cylinders. Also, the engine runs fast/strong. I will check for leaks in the system or obstructions in the pick up strainer. Thanks!!
