    '89 evinrude 70hp VRO pump Failin on fuel side

    I have an 1989 evinrude 70hp, mechanic said VRO is failing on the fuel side of the pump. Said it is pumping oil fine. Any suggestions? Also indicated middle cylindar has got low compression, now I just had a problem with water in the gas, could water have gotten in the rings and siezed it up...
