    fuel pump wires

    i have a vro2 fuel pump with 4 wires. Tan,Brown,black, and purple. I been told that the purple is the power, can i hook that wire to the starter silenoid, because my engine harnes has no purple wires on it. 1990 70hp eninrude... help!!

    vro2 pump

    i have a 1990 evinrude with a vro2 pump on it. The pump has 4 wirers, Tan, Brown,Purple,black. I had to rewire my engine harness and dont no where the purple wire goes from the VRO2 pump. my engine harness has no purple wire on it.. Can any body help..
