    Running out of fuel - engine damage

    I have 2 fuel tanks and on occasion I run out of fuel at full speed. (140HP Evinrude 2 stroke premix). Is there a possibility of causing engine damage or is there enough residual oil in the motor to accommodate this situation.<br /><br />Thanks<br />John

    When I raise and lower the tilt and trim there is and loud squeaky “squawking” noise. I think it is coming from the top cylinder rod pivot pin & bush.     How to adjust gear selector cable Evinrude 140 HP

    I have fitted new gear selector cable, checked my Clymer manual guess what no info!!<br />What I did was adjusted it to the mid position between forward and reverse but it clunks into reverse. Is there a different method or is what I have done correct?<br />Thanks<br />John

    Small amount of water in Leg should I worry??

    I drained the oil from my 140hp Evinrude today and noticed that about 4 teaspoons of clear water ran out before the oil. The oil was not milky. Should I be concerned about this or is it normal to collect a small amount of water maybe condensation in the leg.<br /><br />Thanks<br />John
