    Oil in u-joint bellows

    I just pulled my outdrive (SX-CT1) and found oil in the u-joint bellows. Is there a seal or o-ring on the drive shaft where it goes into the upper gear housing? If so is this a very difficult job to do? Thanks to all in advance! This site is the BEST!!

    SX Cobra outdrive removal

    I have a 97 Larson 186 SEI, 3.0GS-MLKD with SX-CT1 outdrive. The exhaust bellows is bad so i figured while i had the outdrive off i will go ahead and replace the u-joint bellows also. Do i have to remove the pivot housing in order to replace the u-joint bellows?
