    Mercury 150 dies at full power!!

    I have an 1986 Mercury 150 XR2 that will start and idle fine. After running at 2/3 to 3/4 throtle for about 3-4 minutes it will die. It sounds like it is running out of fuel. I have checked the vent hose and it looks fine. Any other advice will be appreciated.Thanks!

    Mercury runs good,then dies!!

    I have an 1986 Mercury 150 XR2 that starts and idles good. After I run at cruising :confused: speed for about three minutes, it will lose power and die. I can let it set for a couple minutes, repump the fuel bulb and go through the same process again. Any ideas?? Please help!!!!!!!!!!
