    Waterpump repair help

I would but what bearing in the top housing? New top housing has no bearing, old housing doesn't have one, parts diagram doesn't show one. #11 is the cylinder that the impeller inserts into.

Not really sure. Is just a simple round square side seal.

    Waterpump repair help

I do really question why they even bother. Clearly nothing presses it into anything and with thes slits below it doesn't seal a thing! Inside doesn't work either as it is to small

Looks like that is not the full diagram. Does not show anything above the waterpump like the diagram you and I have looked at

    Waterpump repair help

I have a 94 120 and disassembled the waterpump to repair it. I have the waterpump repair kit and it has a square sided o ring in it. I see my old oo-ring but for the life of me can not remember the exacy location of this o-ring. I have looked at parts diagrams and it looks as though it goes on...

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Not so sure how the marking would go on this for doing it that way. I scanned the outside of the cover and pulled into CAD. Drew the outline then used a measured offset to get the ID. Took me all of 15 minutes on the computer.

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Not perfect but pretty close. Definitely good enough to seal everything. Just holes were off a little. Back running as good as ever. Thanks for all your help!

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

So true. Likely will call Crowley although they may not know either. In any case headed to the hardware store for gasket material and odds and ends. Screws likely can be recovered. But working other needed project so won't know until I dig into it further

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Would make sense but am putting in a 120 which is a 4 cylinder and states 2 gaskets. Guess I just need to order 2 packs. Have to go to the hardware store for some other projects so might just try cutting them myself with the laser. Thanks for your help!

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Yes, I had figured out how the transfer ports work. I was just stumped when I was told that the transfer reports were for inspection. Figure they had to have more purpose than that. Just wondering why sold in packs of 2 when the engine needs 3 total and Crowley shows 3 of that part needed when...

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

One last question. It appears to be sold in packs of two. Are these gaskets doubled on each of the transfer ports?

Well more research and found a good diagram of the purpose of the transfer ports. Thanks all, Guess problem solved now. ;-)

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Yah, I have a couple, good idea. Need to get the electronics plate off and have a look into it. Unfortunately, the gaskets I pulled up on Crowley were a different part number and for a different year. Not positive they will fit. Tried a second search and found the correct part number for $16...

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Oh, and even though I put in the correct part number in my search Crowley. Thanks Jerry. So, some of that gasket could have been sucked into the cylinder?

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

Yah sort of, one question not answered. Could anything else have been damaged by the lost bolts/blown gasket. I am not so sure what the transfer ports purpose is. I am assuming it is fuel related and if so could some of that gasket material been sucked into the cylinder?

Lost power on return to ramp screws missing from transfer port caps. 94 force 120

I believe I can find the bolts in the bottom of the case. If not that was my plan to get new. That was the simple part. As for making a gasket I had also considered doing that. Even better for me I have a laser cutter/engraver would just need to draw the gasket in CAD. But, if I can find it at...
