    470 trim pump leak

    Oil keeps leaking from this plug on my 470 trim pump. The plug is difficult to remove and I have changed the oring twice but it keeps blowing a chunk out of the oring and begins to leak heavily. Any ideas why this keeps leaking. Thanks.

    Mc1 drive shaft question

    doea this shaft run in gear oil on the top. I noticed there is an oring on the shaft and there is a seal in the upper half that also runs on the shaft. Thanks.

    Bellows leak?

    I removed my mc1 drive to pin point a gear oil leak and when I pulled the drive there was water in the upper bellows and the u joints were rusty on the drive input shaft. What do I need to fix. Thanks

    I pulled the seal retainer to install prop seals and now gear oil runs out of the prop. Do I need to add sealant where the retainer touches the gear housing? Thanks. 1977 470

    Where does a 470 usually vapor lock at? I have already installed an elecrtic fuel pump between the tank and the factory fuel pump/water seperator. Do they tend to vapor lock in the metal line from the factory pump to the carb or.do.they vaporock in the carb itself? Thanks
