    can mass amount of water get wiring wet and cuase the motor not to run

    hook a fish finder up, the post i used sprayed a lot of water up and out of the river onto the top of the moter. would this cause a fireing miss? we ran it out of gas (all new fuel systym to the motor) it stalled, filled it back up and it rolles over just wont crank. do i need to prime it in...

    40 ELN 1984, i read they have heat activated gasket. mine was sitting since 1998 and has a few little leeks at the crank case and it seems to be sealing its self the more it sits and idle (heats up). still bugs me it also makes a high pitch sqeeking noise when cumming back down from a high rev...
