    I have a 25 hp that has been sitting in storage for 5 years. It was only run in freshwater. I bought new plugs, new gas/oil, tank and gas line. I had got it cranked and idled for 15 min. tried to recrank but took about 20 pulls. Tried crancking it over the last few days but does not sound like...

    spark plugs recomended for 72 Evenrude 25hp

    What type of plugs do I need for a 1972, 25hp Evinrude outboard? I have the Champion J8c in it now but takes atleast 8 cranks to start, and some minor adjusting to the plugs. Am I using the wrong plug? What plug type/brand should I be using?? Please Advise..Thanks Brad
