hello,<br />i have a 1961 75hp johnson that has a plate attached to it that has a small steel ball protruding that fits into a metal piece (with a hole) that appears to screw onto the end of the steering linkage. The metal piece on the end of the steering has broken and i have no clue what this...
does anyone know what motors are interchangeable with this motor? if i needed to replace the lower unit are there other motors that have the same parts?<br /><br />thank you,<br />doris
