I just blew out the head gasket on my 89' OMC 3.0L.I had to run about three hours after the blow out. Could I have done any other damage? I switched to Amsoil 30w full synthetic marine and diesel oil last year. Could this have contributed to head gasket failure? There is 500 hours on engine...
