I have a 10-yr. old minkota trolling motor. It has been used about 10 times. It has not been used in 5 yrs. When I hook it up to a battery I get nothing. No click, no hum, nothing. I took the cap off the top and all looked O.K. Some evidence of dirt daubers but no frayed wires, rusty...
