    1982 mercury 40hp water pump replaced and now wont go into gear

    I am new to working on boats and just replaced the water pump, put it back together and now it wont shift into forward or reverse from the control box. I dropped it and put it back up 3 times with no luck does anyonehave any ideas of how to remedy this. and I am also looking for a exploded view...

    1973 85hp Chrysler Engine surges after 5-10 minutes running wide open

    what would cause my motor to run awesome for 5-10 minutes the all of a sudden start surging and lose and gain power at full throttle after awhile of that it just shuts down. It fires right back and acts as if nothing happened but will only run decent at about 3/4 trottle. But last time it did...
