    STILL LOOKING FOR HELP FOR 3.6 MERC

    3.6 Merc. - Dies after wide open throttle

    I picked up a little 3.6 Merc last fall that would not start. I found the compression to be only about 30 lbs. I took the motor apart and found broken rings.     MERC. PROP FOR WHAT ENGINE???

    I have a new Quicksilver prop #48-815083. I would like to sell it on Ebay but I have no idea what it fits. I have a 3.6 Merc. but it is not the same. This new prop. is 7-1/2" in diameter. Can anyone tell me what motor/motors it fits?? Spring is on its way!!!Thanks

    1983 - 4.5 EVINRUDE COMPRESSION?

    I have a 1983 - 4.5 HP Evinrude. I would like to know what the compression on this motor should be. It seems to run fine but I think it smokes a little too much. Both cylinders check at 95 lbs.     3.6 Merc Flywheel Removal

    I have and early 80's 3.6 Merc. I am trying to remove the flywheel. Usually there are threaded holes in the top of the flywheel for bolts when using a puller. This flywheel does not have any holes at all. Any suggestions?.....Thanks, Paul [LIST]
