    71 Johnson 3 cylinder miss at 3/4 throttle and above

    After extensive repairs to ignition system I feel Im very close to getting this thing finished. However I have a miss/jerk at 3/4 throttle and above. I suspect a distributor or spark plug wire issue but before I spend $300+ on parts I may not need I wanted to get some more experienced opinions...

    Automotive style ignition?

    I have completed this conversion and still have a starting issue. I have a nice blue spark at he the plug but the engine still wont start. It almost acts like timing but I'm not sure. I poured a little gas directly into the cylinders and it still would not fire. Any deas? Thanks in advance. BTW...
