I have a 14' Nautica RIB with a Mercury sport jet 95xr. The wear ring is pretty much shot. I see that other companies use a plastic insert on the wear rings. Has any body tried to use this on a Mercury sport jet? I have a lathe and can machine out the current wear ring but I'm having trouble...
