    Aluminum in saltwater?

    I just picked up a aluminum 1982 Starcraft 18' c.c. boat for fishing up here in New England. I'll be trailering the boat and fishing both fresh and saltwater. My question is whether the saltwater will take its toll on the old girl or if a good wash down after each outing will keep her going...

    Question

    Looking for a little advice....<br />I just inherited a 18' alum cc w/o motor. I have a line on a evinrude 70 h.p. Is that a suitable motor for this boat? Also, is my Jeep Cherokee enough truck to tow with? This is my 1st boat any insight would be appreciated
