    Advice please

    A bleach solution of 2% kills them. The problem with bleach is it is corrosive. In some states they are using 140 F water temp to flush the tanks and engines. Lake Tahoe is one area.

    KM7, I do not have the same boat as you but maybe it will help with ideas. We mounted the tower mounts on the side of the boat. That way the factory bimini fits over the top of it. It also fits through the 7' garage door when the tower is lowered. We used a Monster MT2 tower on a 2011 Tahoe...

    66stingray, I am no expert but I hooked mine, on a 2011 5.0 mpi (cat) engine, to the purple connector. I had to follow the harness back and disconnect it farther back. I then used the harness that came with the Vessel view. I included pictures. Hope that helps .

    Re: 2006 Crownline 262 EX Needs a Wakeboard Tower...recommendations? It depends upon the type of bimini, the type of tower and the boat. I put on a Monster Tower and the factory bimini fits over the top of it. Now it also depends if you want the tower to fold down as well.

    Re: Trailer guide-on post question I used these on my trailer. They are from Tiedown Engineering. Maybe the bracket could be bent like smokeonthewater said. I have seen them welded to the trailer, at an angle, to accommodate the type of frame.

    Re: Winterizing question Those radiator type petcock valves open counter clock wise. They work well but the ears bend after while and start to leak that is why the design has changed. I would replace with a standard brass or nylon plug.
