Hello All, 1971 Johnson 6hp 2stroke. The original lower unit oil was milky looking, so I changed it and replaced both shaft seals, and oring and spaghetti-like seal around bottom casing. I ran it for about 15 minutes in a tank, and then dumped the gear oil again. It went from dark honey...
