    vacuum line

    engine # 0C865660 So off the lift pump there is a vacuum line I'm guessing that goes to the back of the carb? What is it for? I found some kindgunk plugging it.

    So today I decided to lift up the gas tank cover just to look around... I found a lot of rotting on the decking. How hard is it to replace the decking? And what supplies would you need to do it? It looks like 3/4 treated ply wood now, Any help would be appreciated thanks.

    Oil...

    So I was just about to change the oil in the boat until I opened my cabinet and me oil was gone :grumpy: I have a 1990 4.3l v6 and cant see myself paying $10 a quart for mecruisers 25-40... Is there some cheaper oil I can use???
