    bad steering

    I replaced the outdrive on my 1984 conroy x19, Ive never had it in the water as I just bought it ,the problem is when I put it in the water the steering is backwards ,I dont want to sound dumb ,but how can I fix this. p.s. the outdrive is a omc 800 stringer.thanks for your help.

    omc switch

    I just got a 1984 conroy with a omc 800 stinger,this boat has a new gm 3.0 4 cly motor in it the out drive is bad, so I was given a 1979 tbird formula with a 800 that is good, but it has a v8 gmc . is it going to fit on the conroy it looks the same. any help well taken thanks

    omc 600 stringer

    ive never worked on a out drive so far no trouble,untill I droped the lower end where the prop shaft is . I cant see how to unhook theshift rod ,I was told to unscrew it ,but icant see were it disconnects from .I can use all the help I can get .thanks

    mercruiser 3.o

    I have 2 things to ask,i just picked up a1984 conroy,I think it has a 3.0 4cyl mercuiser in it,but looks to new so does the motor have an ID STAMP ON THEM. ALSO IT HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A OMC STINGER on it. I never owned a inboard out board before,thanks for any help.
